This cop definitely gets MacGyver points if he put this together himself. Anyone who’s ever worn a bulletproof vest in the summer has a special appreciation for this.

Students and faculty gathered around the flagpole in front of Fruita Monument High School Thursday morning wondering in awe just how senior pranksters welded an old Eagle hatchback around the flagpole without causing any damage to school property.

The real win here is the fact that these guys thought this through enough to have a defensible position that they didn’t damage anything, since the car isn’t touching the flagpole. The school says as long as they help clean it up after school lets out for the summer they’re good. Alex Almy and Jesse Poe, today you guys are winners.

Sometimes good timing puts and unexpected smile on your face.

This is so obviously awesome that in retrospect I’m shocked I haven’t seen something like this before. I mean, can you even imagine a better home security weapon for the zombie apocalypse? Of course you can’t. I’ll need about half a truckload of these, just in case.

The worsening economy has obviously caused Arby’s to come up with compelling new marketing strategies. In related news, it seems Libertines everywhere say they’re eating out at Arby’s several times a week.
