Safety Test Fail

By all means, when testing how well a guard rail will stop a bus, stand in the path of the bus to film the test. Nothing could possibly go wrong.

Life Imitates Fail

I bet this guy regrets getting that flame job now. This reminds me of the flamethrower scene from “Deal of the Century.” That’s a nice flame job, how ’bout a little touch up?

Fake News That Fooled The Media

In the olden days when shoes were a luxury and smallpox was a right of passage, men like William Randolph Hearst used their complete control over communication airwaves to tell the general populace whatever lie happened to be convenient (see marijuana is evil) or interesting (see below).

With the advent of the Internet, the situation has changed so that instead of powerful media moguls spreading bullshit, pretty much anybody can do it. After all, if the story is good enough, the mainstream media will report it, no matter how transparently retarded it is.

This is more fine work from Cracked.com. I saw several of these when they were ‘news’ and laughed my ass off, but there are also some gems that I’ve never seen before. The tag for ‘media fail’ is born.

Cousin It Appears On Griddle

cousin-it-on-griddle-virgin-maryPhoto By Todd Krainin Imperial Valley Press

CALEXICO, Calif. — The hottest thing on the griddle at the Las Palmas restaurant these days isn’t the food. It’s the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe that a cook says she saw in the griddle.

Yet another vague Rorschach which must be an image of <insert random mythological figure here>. This one’s especially weak, and looks a whole lot more like Cousin It from The Adams Family than Our Lady of Guadalupe. But please, by all means, do not think for yourself…follow the mindless zealots in their rush to see the griddle.
